How To Style Your Bandanas This Summer

How to Style Your Bandanas This Summer

Bandanas are a quick and easy way to tie a look together with a pop of color and print, and there are so many ways you can add them to your style, but let's start with the basics and the classic way of wearing them...

1. Around the Neck

You can opt for a chunky front that shows more of the print and truly elevates a basic like a white tee, or a skinny tie, that just gives enough color and print without taking away from the top.

Chunky Fronts: Fold corner to corner, take two ends and tie it behind the neck.

Skinny Ties: Folder corner to corner, roll it up all the way, then tie at the front with two knots. Leave some of the bandana hanging after the knot and slightly open up the ends.

2. In the Hair

Wrap it as a head wrap to keep your hair out of your face on those hot days or when you're doing high-exertion work around the house, or tie into your ponytail for a feminine touch.

Head Wrap: Fold corner to corner. Place the bandana on top of your head, with the long/folded side near your forehead. Grab the side ends, bring them down under your hair and tie a knot.

Ponytail: Fold corner to corner, roll it up all the way, wrap it around your hair and tie two knots on top of the hair. Best to tie your hair with a rubber band first and loop the bandana through the band before tying the knots to ensure it stays in place.

3. Bandana Hack

No tying needed! Just slip off one of your rings, and after folding/rolling the bandana, wrap it around your neck with the ends at the front, slip the bandana through, and voila! You're done and ready to go!
