What's a misprint?

Hand block printing is bound to have human error. From the hand drawn designs, to the tracing, carving, printing and then washing and drying outdoors in the sunlight, mistakes are bound to occur. There can be errors in measurement, the dye can splash, or the wrong color is accidentally used. Life happens. Mistakes happen. We call these happy errors "misprints". 

Because these aren't like the rest of the batch, rather than have them sit and/or be discarded, we sell them as our "Misprints" at a discounted price.
